 Request an educational sessionThe CMPA offers educational presentations, available in both official languages, ranging from plenary sessions to interactive workshops. More than 400 sessions are held every year across Canada. Who can attend? Member physicians, physician groups, medical trainees and those who work with physicians. Who are the presenters? CMPA physicians and/or lawyers from legal firms partnered with the CMPA. What are the topics? Presentations are customized to meet the needs of the audience and types of practice. Common topics include informed consent and informed discharge, disclosure of adverse events, team communications, liability and shared care, hospital and office risk management and patient safety issues. What is the cost? There is no cost to members, physician groups, medical trainees and those who work for physicians. How to request a session Please complete the form to request an educational session and email it to education@cmpa.org. A lead time of two months is recommended.
