Secure web mail is here!
The CMPA is pleased to provide a new option for sending and receiving medico-legal correspondence between the CMPA and our members. You can now exchange confidential information and documents using CMPA's secure web mail.
It's fast, easy to use, and protects the security of your information.
How do you start using web mail?
To get started you will need:
- A user ID (your CMPA membership number) and a password.
- A personal email address to which we can send you notifications.
How does it work?
- When you want to send a web mail message, click the Member self-service/web mail link at the left, then choose Medico-legal assistance/web mail, and follow the prompts.
- When the CMPA sends a web mail message to you, you will receive a notification at your preferred email address. Click the link in the email notification to view your web mail message.
- If you wish, you may send a reply back to CMPA using web mail.
Don't have a password?
If you need a password to log onto the protected members-only area, please call the CMPA at 1 800 267-6522 or 613 725-2000 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET).
…and don’t forget our regular service
- Web mail is offered in addition to telephone, fax and regular mail. Telephone service remains the fastest way to obtain urgent advice from a CMPA medical officer.
- To protect your security, the CMPA does not communicate confidential information with our members via regular email.
