Dr. Fahimy Saoud is a full-time family medicine practitioner in Montréal, who has practised in various settings for over a decade in Québec. Her main appointments are at the McGill University Health Centre—Lachine Hospital (emergency room), and at the Camille Lefebvre Long Term Care Pavilion. She also supervises international medical graduates at a clinic located in St. Mary’s Hospital.
A graduate of Université d'État d'Haïti, Dr. Saoud completed her family medicine residency at St. Mary’s Hospital. She received the Nadine St. Pierre Award from the Québec College of Family Physicians for her work on the impact of language barriers and the use of translators on the quality of patient care.
Dr. Saoud has been a member of Lachine Hospital’s Council of Physicians, Dentists and Pharmacists since 2016 and is a strong advocate for physician wellness.
