Dr. Toye Oyelese is a full-time family physician practising in West Kelowna, BC. A graduate of the University of Ibadan Nigeria, Dr. Oyelese completed a residency in Saskatoon. Dr. Oyelese is the CEO of Westside Medical Associates and manages a multi-physician practice that provides longitudinal primary care to the community. He is a clinical assistant professor with the Department of Family Medicine, University of British Columbia.
Dr. Oyelese’s special area of interest is mentoring. He has published a book on life skills management.
Dr. Oyelese served as the president of BC Family Doctors in 2021 and was a member of the Executive Board, Communications Working Group, and committees on nomination, finance, economics, staffing, and governance review. Dr. Oyelese served on the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Working Group for Doctors of BC in 2021.
