Dr. Jill Cunniffe is a graduate of Dalhousie University Medical School and the University of Calgary’s Family Medicine Residency. She is a career hospitalist physician, having begun her practice in the Calgary Health Region before moving east in 2008 to work in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Over her career, Dr. Cunniffe has served on multiple provincial committees dealing with human resource planning, hospital operations, and patient flow. She served several terms as a department head, and chaired the Health PEI Medical Staff Bylaws Review and is a former president of the Medical Society of Prince Edward Island.
Dr. Cunniffe is a recipient of the Outstanding Service in Hospital Medicine Award from the Canadian International Chapter of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
