Dr. Jill Cunniffe is a hospitalist physician working in Prince Edward Island. A graduate of Dalhousie University, she completed her residency at the University of Calgary and began her clinical and leadership career in Calgary before relocating to the East Coast.
Over her career, Dr. Cunniffe has held a variety of leadership roles in clinical governance, physician resource planning, and hospital operations. She was a clinical department head for many years and is a former president of the Medical Society of PEI. Dr. Cunniffe served as the acute care coordinator for Health PEI’s COVID-19 response. More recently, she was the chairperson of the Health PEI Medical Staff Bylaws Review Committee.
Dr. Cunniffe holds a Master’s Certificate in Physician Leadership from the Schulich School of Business. She is committed to leadership that creates inclusive, respectful, and collaborative medical culture.
