Dr. Geneviève Lalonde is an anesthesiologist with a subspecialty in cardiac anesthesiology. She has been practising for 10 years, the last three of which at the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie in Québec City. In her earlier practice years, she worked as a tertiary care specialist in Winnipeg, Manitoba for six years.
Dr. Lalonde is a clinical lecturer at Université Laval and has participated in several mentoring programs for medical students and residents. Among her experience on hospital, university department, and association committees, she has served on the management committee of the anesthesiology program and on the economic committee of her provincial medical association. She also supports professional development of physicians through her work as an instructor of an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course.
