Dr. Michael Curry works as a full-time emergency physician in Metro Vancouver and as a locum physician in smaller communities throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Having completed a law degree before attending medical school, Dr. Curry brings a unique perspective to medico-legal issues and has used his skills to hold a number of leadership roles within the healthcare system.
Dr. Curry has represented medical students and residents locally, provincially, and nationally. He continues to be involved in medical education. He also has considerable experience in professional regulation, having served on boards of several non-physician regulatory bodies.
He has experience with governance of many organizations and is able to provide valuable insights into financial management and oversight, governance, and professional regulation.
