Dr. Jugpal Arneja received his MD from the University of Manitoba, where he also completed his Plastic Surgery Residency. He completed a Craniofacial/Pediatrics Surgery Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and received his MBA (Executive) from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Dr. Arneja is a plastic surgeon at British Columbia Children’s Hospital and Vancouver Coastal Health. He has published extensively and received many grants and awards as clinical professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at UBC and a senior associate member of the UBC Sauder School of Business.
Dr. Arneja is a past member of the Inquiry Committee and Non-Hospital Medical and Surgical Facilities Accreditation Program at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and previously a member of the Board of Governors at the University of Manitoba. He is past-chair of the American Association of Pediatric Plastic Surgeons and past-chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Plastic Surgery. He is presently editor-in-chief of Plastic Surgery, the official journal of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
