Dr. Darija Vujosevic is a family physician practising in St. Catharines, Ontario and a professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University. Having been in clinical practice for 15 years, she also teaches medical and physician assistant students and supervises and mentors family medicine residents. As an international medical graduate, she has previously practised in Bosnia and Bermuda.
As a physician leader, Dr. Vujosevic sits on the Board of Niagara North Family Health Team (NNFHT) and is the former chair of the organization. As vice-chair of NNFHT’s Resource Committee, she is active in providing guidance and oversight of financial reporting. She brings strategic planning experience through her role as Ontario Health West Primary Care Clinical Lead for Niagara, as well as governance experience through the Ontario Medical Association’s (OMA) Section on Family and General Practice and the Niagara-ESON Ontario Health Team.
