Dr. Richard Dumouchel is a family medicine physician with over 30 years of clinical experience across diverse settings, including emergency care, intensive care, long-term care and obstetrics. He established both the clinical intake service and the anticoagulation clinic at his Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS).
Throughout his career, Dr. Dumouchel has held numerous leadership positions, such as the head of obstetrics and head of general medicine. He has also contributed to governance at regional and provincial levels through roles including with the Association des médecins omnipraticiens Richelieu–Saint-Laurent (AMORSL) and the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ).
