CMPA continues its EDI journey

CMPA is committed to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the inclusive services we provide to members and within our own workplace. Guided by our EDI Strategy, we strive to create an inclusive environment where members and employees are valued, and members receive fair, supportive medico-legal advice, learning, and assistance.

We are proud to share that 74% of members indicated our medico-legal advice is culturally sensitive and inclusive, but we know we have more work to do.

Supporting members with AI use

Artificial intelligence (AI) has the power to transform healthcare. Over 50% of survey respondents indicate they use AI now or plan to soon.

Awareness gap: Helping members discover more of what we offer

Survey results indicate that many members are less familiar with our role in patient compensation, our research and advocacy work, and how we respond to changes in the healthcare environment.

Navigating medico-legal issues can be stressful. CMPA provides resources and support to help physicians maintain their well-being

In addition to personalized peer support, CMPA offers a variety of wellness resources for physicians. Our survey results indicate that while awareness of our resources is high, nearly 40% of members have yet to engage with them.
